Pilgrim Experience Program
Publication date: 20 November 2024 - 18 Jumada al-awwal 1446The Pilgrim Experience Program’s role is to provide the opportunity for the largest possible number of Muslims to perform Hajj and Umrah to the fullest extent and to work on enriching and enhancing their experience. This is through preparing the Two Holy Mosques, achieving Islam’s universal message, preparing tourist and cultural sites, and providing the best services before, during and after their visit to Makkah and Medina Munawara and the Holy Sites. The role also includes reflecting Saudi Arabia’s honorable and civilized image in serving the Two Holy Mosques and pilgrims.
Five initiatives will be included within the Program's updated Executive Plan:
The initiative of Activating and Development Endowments for Pilgrims to enable and organize volunteer work for pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah
Development of a Governance Framework for the Non-profit Sector Contribution and organization of Pilgrims Service
Activating the Assignment of the Government Services for Pilgrims to the Non-profit Sector
Development of the capabilities of the Non-profit Sector and enhancing Coordination and Integration
