The Inaugural Dialogue Workshop of the 15th Social Dialogue Forum Convenes

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, held the first workshop of the 15th Social Dialogue Forum on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, with the participation of representatives from the three production parties, at the Center's headquarters in Riyadh.

The workshop commenced with a speech delivered by His Excellency Mr. Muhannad Al-Issa, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Labor Market Policies, who welcomed the attendees and praised the vital role of social dialogue in enabling production parties to discuss pivotal labor market issues and reach solutions that contribute to achieving balance and sustainable development.

In turn, His Excellency Mr. Ibrahim Al-Asimi, Deputy Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of the forum as a platform for constructive dialogue among social partners, and the Center's role in supporting and enhancing these discussions at the national level.

The meeting saw the participation of the Employers' team, headed by Dr. Abdulghani Al-Sayegh, and the Labor Committees' team, headed by Engineer Nasser Al-Juraid.

This workshop is part of a series of social dialogue workshops planned for this year, leading up to the concluding Social Dialogue Forum, which represents a strategic opportunity to enable the "three production parties" to engage in dialogue and negotiation to reach opportunities and proposals that contribute to the development of the labor market and address its most pressing issues.
