Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development Concludes First Phase of "Professional Youth Volunteering" Initiative

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, represented by the General Department of Youth Development, celebrated the conclusion of the first phase of the "Entrepreneurial Youth Meetings" project within the Professional Volunteering Initiative, in cooperation and partnership with "E-Youth" company, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Community Development, Mr. Ahmed Al-Majed.

This phase, which lasted for seven months, witnessed the participation of more than 70 professional volunteers, who provided more than 650 volunteer hours, benefiting more than 2,000 young men and women.

This initiative comes within the Ministry's youth development strategy, which carries the slogan "Ambitious and Influential Youth Wealth Locally and Globally," and aims to empower youth, develop their skills in innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhance their role in society. The initiative also contributed to developing the personal and professional skills of participants through five main areas, including law, project management, establishing entrepreneurial projects, and career counseling.

In his speech on this occasion, the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Mr. Ahmed Al-Majed, stressed that this initiative reflects the Ministry's commitment to supporting youth and its deep belief in the importance of their role in enhancing community participation. He praised the efforts of the volunteers who gave their time and expertise to support their fellow youth, and expressed his thanks to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, "Code" Center, King Saud University, and "E-Youth" company for their effective contribution to the success of the initiative.

These efforts come within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a vibrant society, a prosperous economy, and achieve a sustainable impact by supporting and empowering youth in various fields.
