
Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development Highlights Importance of Compliance with Updated Domestic Workers Regulations

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has stressed the importance of adhering to the updated regulations for domestic workers and those in similar roles, which have recently come into effect. This step aims to enhance an attractive working environment and safeguard the rights of all concerned parties. The update is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve the recruitment sector and regulate the contractual relationship between employers and domestic workers, ensuring reduced disputes and greater job stability.
The ministry clarified that the updated regulations provide greater clarity on the contractual relationship by defining the obligations and rights of both employers and domestic workers. The regulations specify working hours and rest periods and establish clear guidelines for contract termination or dissolution.
