
Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Meets with Experts and Specialists in Skills and Training in the Labor Market

His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, held a meeting with a group of experts and specialists in the fields of skills and training in the Saudi labor market. The meeting, conducted via video conferencing, is part of a series of periodic engagements His Excellency conducts with national committees, citizens, and professionals across various fields to directly discuss challenges and receive developmental proposals aimed at enhancing the ministry’s efforts in skill development within the labor market.
At the outset of the meeting, Minister Al-Rajhi delivered a welcoming address, emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships with specialists to support and advance the labor market. He underscored the critical role of training and skill enhancement in achieving efficiency, competitiveness, and the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.
During the session, Dr. Ahmad Al-Zahrani, Deputy Minister for Skills and Training, presented an overview of the ministry’s initiatives in the field of skills development and training, highlighting the private sector’s role in addressing future labor market needs in strategic sectors.
The meeting, attended by approximately 400 participants from various regions across the Kingdom, featured discussions on training and skill development, as well as proposals and efforts aimed at refining the ministry’s policies and programs in these areas.
It is noteworthy that this meeting reflects the ministry’s commitment to fostering communication with all segments of society and addressing labor market needs in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
