Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, the fourth edition of the "Labor Award" ceremony will be held in Riyadh on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. The event coincides with the Global Labor Market Conference, which will take place from January 29 to 30, 2025.

The award aims to honor outstanding private sector establishments and encourage them to adopt work environment standards that enhance their competitiveness and appeal to employees. This initiative by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development seeks to promote best practices in workplace improvement, enhance the role of establishments in developing national talents, and boost employee sustainability and career growth—ultimately strengthening the performance and competitiveness of the Saudi labor market.

This year's edition features over 190,000 private sector establishments competing for 30 awards across four main categories: "Saudization," "Work Environment," "Skills and Training," and "CEO Excellence." Nearly 1.5 million employees have participated in the nomination survey for eligible establishments.

Since its launch in 2021, the award has recognized 69 distinguished establishments, with the number of winners increasing each year. This growth reflects the award's positive impact in motivating the private sector to enhance work environments and foster excellence, contributing significantly to the development of the Saudi labor market.

The award is founded on core principles of inclusivity and diversity, considering variations in the size and organizational levels of establishments. It welcomes all types of businesses, from large and mega enterprises to small and medium-sized companies, ensuring fair competition and development opportunities based on their capabilities and objectives.

The "Labor Award" serves as a prestigious platform for recognizing outstanding contributions in the private sector, offering a valuable opportunity to highlight excellence in Saudization, work environments, training, and leadership. This initiative plays a key role in enhancing the Saudi labor market, making it more attractive and competitive in response to evolving industry demands.
